Proceeds of Upscale Resale support the many philanthropic projects of ASSISTANCE LEAGUE® OF Mid-Missouri. Donations from the public are welcome during store hours. Tax donation forms are available upon request.
We are all justifiably proud of Upscale Resale and understand how important its success is to all of our service programs. The following items sell very well we get the most response from donations of:

Items that we do not sell
These items either have liability or space issues, are dangerous in the shop, or simply don’t sell. Keep Upscale upscale, be a considerate donor and “worker”.
Please do not donate or accept donations of the items listed below. Other organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army or Goodwill may accept them.
- Dirty, torn, smelly clothes*
- Broken or damages items**
- Baby Equipment such as cribs, car seats or highchairs
- Exercise Equipment
- Children’s Clothing
- Toys or Dirty Stuffed Animals
- Computers or printers
- Televisions
- Cloudy or chipped glassware
- Burned candles
- Out-of-date encyclopedias or textbooks
- HAZARDOUS ITEMS (knives)
- Broken picture frames
- Dusty, faded, strained or torn sheets and curtains
- Mattresses
- Bed pillows
- Mini blinds/cheap curtain rods
- Ceiling lights/Chandeliers/ceiling fans
- Large appliances
- Items with business logos – especially mugs!
- Skis
*You can put soiled or torn clothing in a blue bag for Boonslick Industries and still receive a tax credit.
**Broken, damaged, or really dirty items need to go to the trash, please.
