Assistance League® of Mid-Missouri is a non-profit all volunteer philanthropic organization that operates multiple programs to help women and children in need in Columbia.
Every year we clothe hundreds of children with new school clothes, give money to teachers for enrichment activities in their classrooms, and much, much more.
We are a chapter of Assistance League® whose 26,000 members put caring and commitment into action through community based philanthropic programs. Since 1992, we have followed our chapter's motto of "Working Together...Making a Difference."

Welcome to the web site of the Assistance LeagueŽ of Mid-Missouri. While these pages give you facts and figures about our organization, they cannot capture the happy hearts of our members as they serve our community. If you are looking for a way to return to the world some of what the world has been kind enough to share with you, we invite you to become a part of our team. Through giving your time and energy to the service of others, your life will be enriched.
Our programs are completely funded through contributions and fundraisers. We appreciate our community's support. You may offer support in so many different ways. Providing gently used clothing and furniture to our Upscale Resale Store in the Broadway Shopping Center, attending our annual Comedy Night at the Deja Vue Comedy Club, ordering our fabulous chocolate chip cookies from our Cookie Connection, and contributing to our "Fill your Heart" letter campaign are just a few ways you can help us.
We look forward to hearing from you. Please use the Get Involved button to send us a message or request additional information about any of our programs and upcoming events. As our motto says...."Working together...Making a Difference" is a team effort that we cannot accomplish without all of you.
Sincerely,
Doris Ross
President 2009-2010
