HISTORY

ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Mid-Missouri, a nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonsectarian volunteer service organization established in 1992, is a chapter of NATIONAL ASSISTANCE LEAGUE®.  NAL was founded in Southern California in 1935 and has a current membership of more than 22,000 in 102 chapters across the United States.

Philanthropic projects are selected by members of ALMM after researching needs in the Columbia community.

 FUNDRAISING

Philanthropic projects of ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Mid-Missouri are financed by chapter-sponsored fundraising activities, grants and contributions from the community.  All funds raised in the community stay in the community.  All contributions are tax deductible.  For more information about our Fundraising click on activities:

MEMBERSHIP

Volunteers of all ages from the Mid-Missouri area serve the community through active participation in ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Mid-Missouri's philanthropic projects. If you are a member, click here for chapter information.
The Professional Leaders' Auxiliary is also a way for women with career obiligations , who are unable to attend daytime meetings, to volunteer their time.
